Dr. Stacy L. Mallicoat is a Professor of Criminal Justice. Her research interests include juvenile justice, female offenders and victims, and criminal justice policy. Her areas of expertise include program evaluation, policy development and evaluation, goals assessment and public opinion. Her projects have included an evaluation of a program targeted at women exiting from street prostitution, process evaluation of implementing a culturally appropriate program for at-risk southeast Asian youth and families, an assessment of sentencing practices in the juvenile court and an analysis of public opinion on the death penalty.
