About
Since its founding in October of 1999, the center has conducted public opinion surveys and research about timely issues in Orange County. The center also sponsors public events that highlight the public policy challenges of the region, as well as, possible solutions to the challenges. Our affiliated faculty members strive to provide relevant, informed, and unbiased expertise to assist agencies and stakeholders with policy research, analysis, and implementation. They have topical expertise covering a wide range of issues including local, regional, and national government and policy issues.
Missions
The Center’s mission is to provide informed and unbiased expertise in exploring problems and solutions for public policy issues in Orange County and the surrounding areas.
Goals
Facilitate collaboration between community leaders, practitioners, agencies, and researchers. Identify pragmatic policy solutions (“best practices”) to societal issues.
